Activagers is the first international online-community dedicated to the target group 40+. Founded in 2008 and located in Munich and Hamburg, activagers is soundly financed by a group of private investors. We offer our target group a wide range of interesting functionalities and content and have positioned ourselves as a virtual point of interest for the generation 40+.

Qualifications:
* At least 2-5 years experience in online marketing & PR, preferably for communities
* Understanding of the needs and interests of the generation 40+
* working location flexbile upon agreement with employer / to be discussed
* Experience communicating or negotiating with external business partners.
* Ability to create and analyze reports/data sets
* Passion for Internet and an understanding of the community market in the relevant territory
* Passion for working in a startup environment within a performance-driven company
* Ability to work and to coordinate activities stand-alone from the home-office
* Strong bias for action and ability to prioritize
* Excellent computer skills
* Open minded with a "hands-on" attitude
* Profound knowledge of Internet and e-commerce
* Fluency and literacy in English or German
Responsibilities:
* Promote the growth of a mature online community
* Meet targets by planning and executing promotions
* Report targets, growth, and activity level trends to managers
* Form direct partnerships with relevant websites and offline-businesses
* Create marketing material such as press releases, email newsletters, articles, topics, etc.
* Identify solutions and functionalities to improve user satisfaction on the website
